Simple questions to ask those supporting nuclear weapons,

Trident replacement:

1. Since funds are desperately needed to tackle the real security threats of climate change, HIV/Aids, other pandemics, poverty and terrorism, why sink money into Trident?

2.  Under what conditions would you find it morally justifiable to kill hundreds of thousands of people with Trident?

3. Most countries do not have nuclear weapons and are not attacked. Why does the government perpetuate the fear that without nuclear weapons we will be attacked?

4. Surely nuclear weapons add to our insecurity, because they distort international relations. If (as you say) nuclear weapons are an insurance policy then should not every nation be entitled to have them?
