Mock Adjudicator's meeting event for the NSCC/AICA at Lords Cricket Ground to over 50 delegates and a repeat of the successful 'BPR' event held in Exeter earlier in the year.

Further to the success of the new JKD & Co service, a launch of the new division AdjCert for the provision of a 'No Win, No Fee' Adjudication Services, a Social Evening was held at The Castle Inn historic site of the 'Battle of Edge Hill' and with Add+ept members and friends in good form.

Add+ept civil engineering partners Westcott Civil Engineering are accepted for a major construction contract at AWE Aldermaston for framework contracor Alstec and further to facilitation by other Add+ept and JKD&Co members.

Current Add+ept member Andy Cockbill an M&E QS specialist and his family relocate to Brisbane, and we wish them all well and also intend to continue our association through the JKD&Co international network.

' BPR ' hosted the SW Construction Charity 5's tournament for Cystic Fibrosis at the Riverside Leisure Centre, Exeter, with local builders Partridge Bros [from Pinhoe] winning the BPR trophy and with £180 raised for the charity!!

' BPR ' joint event with ICES South East was held at the ICE HQ in Great George St, Westminster the previously successful debate " Adjudicate or Arbitrate in 100 days ", with a request for this to become an annual event with ICES SE on a suitable and current topic.

Add+ept pick-up a commission on a £93M ECI project for a national civils contractor in the South West again on the NEC form of contract.


JKD & Co are commissioned to provide legal support services on a Marine Project in the South West for a national civils contractor.

Also John Daly is accepted as a Chartered Arbitrator by the CIArb.

Congratulations to Add+ept member Ruth Glasborow and husband Nigel on the birth of their first child Sophie Rose from all the members and friends.

Add+ept are employed for commercial services on £10m NEC project in Taunton for a national civils contractor.

Also that month Add+ept are employed for risk management services on a £40m ECI bid in Cornwall, an NEC project for another national civils contractor.

Add+ept are commissioned to provide QS project services support on a Rugby Stadium in the South West under JCT conditions.


June 2005

JKD & Co/Add+ept and party enjoy a steam train day on the Severn Valley Railway from Kidderminster to Bridgenorth, enjoying fantastic weather and good company.

Also Add+ept sponsor a 5-a-sides charity football team at the Goals Centre Wembley and in so doing contribute £250 to the Lighthouse Club charity.

Member John Daly and his son Steven taking part on the day and losing in the quarter-finals of the plate !

Add+ept enter the Wright Hassall Charity Quiz, with members Ruth, Andy, John and Tony taking part and finishing a creditable 8th out of 40+ teams.
