NIS is in sorrow and solidarity with all peoples caught up in the devastating prospect of an escalation of Russia’s war in the Ukraine. We support all peaceful means to influence the course of events to stop the attacks. This will require restraint from all parties and renewed and serious diplomacy on all sides.
The risks of escalation are unthinkable in a conflict involving nuclear-armed powers.
