Nuclear Information Service is an independent organisation relying entirely on individual donations and charitable grants to fund our work. We need your support to safeguard our independence and objectivity.

As a small organisation working in an area which is sometimes controversial and rapidly increasing in its political significance, funding is always an issue for us.  We are very grateful to the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust for regular support and the Joseph Rowntree Reform Trust and Lush Charity Pot for recent project support as well as Greenpeace Education Trust, Polden Puckham and others for supporting past projects.  However, not all our work qualifies for grants and we rely on individual and regular donations from members of the public to help support our advocacy work and projects which aim to bring about political change on nuclear weapons issues.

If you would like to support our work you can donate to us using Paypal by pressing the 'Donate' button below, alternatively you can make a bank transfer to Nuclear Information Service Sort code: 08-92-99 A/c no: 65175789 entering a reference 'Donation'.  If you would like a receipt please email

All donations, no matter how small, are put to good use and we are always most grateful for your support.

Many thanks from the staff and Board of NIS!
