  • ISOLUS announcement

    The MoD are expected to announce this week (8th September) the preliminary proposals from industry to remove and “manage” the nuclear waste from decommissioned submarines. The storage sites for this waste is already controversial and the subject of a public consultation.

  • ISOLUS consultation restarts

    After a break since September 2002, the ISOLUS consultation on site storage for decommissioned nuclear submarine reactor compartments is open again. NIS supports the Nuclear Submarine Forum that links groups with an interst in this issue by circulating data from the consultation. PLEASE CONTACT NIS if you wish to take part in the consultation during 2003
